Baby, it's cold outside

I woke up this morning to a beautiful, bright sunny day, so I decided to take a walk and take some pictures on the way. I wanted to dress up a bit more to go into town, but when I saw it was -3 degrees outside, I put on my regular winter uniform: leggings, black skinny jeans, black Converses, a tank top, a long sleeve top, a sweater and of course a coat, a scarf and a hat (Jesus, I can't wait until winter is over). I hate the fact that it's so cold that I feel like my options are very limited; with temperatures like this all I wanna do is dress comfortably and keep as warm as I can.
However, not everyone is the same, so I decided to really observe how people fight the cold: some follow my philosophy, others take advantage of the opportunity to flaunt fur coats and spectacular hats, while the rest ignore the thermometer and wear what they would wear during any other season.

Hoy amanecí con un hermoso día soleado, así que decidí ir a caminar y sacar fotos. Tuve intención de arreglarme, pero cuando vi que hacía 3 grados bajo cero, me puse mi uniforme regular del invierno: leggings, chupines negros, Converse negras, una musculosa, una remera manga larga, un suéter y obviamente una campera, bufanda y gorro (Dios, ya quiero que sea verano!). Odio el hecho que hace tanto frío que me siento muy limita con lo que puedo usar; con las temperaturas que estamos teniendo todo lo que quiero hacer es vestirme cómoda y estar abrigada.
Pero no todos somos iguales, así que decidí observar con atención a la gente que pasaba por al lado mío  y ver como ellos luchaban contra el frío: algunos tienen mi misma filosofía, otros aprovechan la oportunidad para mostrar sus tapados de piel y sombreros espectaculares, mientras que el resto ignora al termómetro y usan lo que usarían en cualquier otra temporada.

Brussels Streetstyle

Champagne, clothes and glamour were only a few things that prevailed on the evening of 27th September. Brussels hosted The Louise Night at the prestigious area of Louise and welcomed thousands of people. Here are some photos I've taken on the night.

Champagne, ropa y glamur fueron solo un par de cosas que formaron parte del Louise Night en Bruselas el 27 de Septiembre. Aquí hay unas fotos que saque en el evento.

Hopefully I'll be back soon with more posts, but right now I've been working day and night on a couple of university assignments, particularly on a Trend Forecasting one (I'll probably be uploading photos of it soon).

Espero pronto poder volver con mas contenido para el blog, pero en este momento estoy poniendo todas mis energías en unos trabajos de la universidad, particularmente uno basado en predicción de tendencias. (Probablemente suba fotos pronto).

I'm back...

I always wonder what it takes for someone to become a famous and inspirational blogger, someone who people talk about, or share their photos on Pinterest, Tumblr and other social media. 
Consistency. Of course it's necessary to have a good sense of style, an entertaining style of writing and exquisite photographic skills; but the most important thing to succeed (not only in the blogger world, but also in every aspect of life) is consistency. 
I've realised that in many occasions, I get very excited about a project, I put all my energies on it, work hard, and after a few (I'd like to say weeks or months, but I'd be lying to myself) days the novelty and enthusiasm wears off, leaving me with unfinished businesses. And there's not a worse feeling than the frustration of starting something but not finishing it. 
However, I'm now starting to change that. After turning 20 a couple of weeks ago, I started trying to have a different approach towards things. This latest birthday got me particularly depressed, I felt like I should of achieved more things by this age, but someone told me...the best part of life has only just started. So I've decided to exploit all the opportunities that present to me as much as I can and really putting my heart in everything I do. Otherwise I'd rather not do it. 
Having said that, I've got a quite few personal projects that I want to work on and things I want to achieve by this year, so hopefully with this blog I'll be able to share with you all my slow personal "metamorphosis".
Siempre me pregunto que necesita uno para ser un famoso e inspirador blogger. Alguien del que habla la gente, o de los que comparte y divulga fotos en Pinterest, Tumblr y otras redes sociales.
Consistencia. Obviamente es necesario tener un buen sentido de la moda, una forma interesante de escribir y una habilidad exquisita para tomar fotografías; pero lo mas importante para tener éxito (no solo en el mundo de los blogs, pero si no que en todo aspecto de la vida) es consistencia.
Me di cuenta que en muchas ocasiones, me emociono por empezar un nuevo proyecto, le pongo todas mis energías, trabajo duro en eso, y después de (me gustaría decir semanas o meses, pero me estaría mintiendo) días la novedad y el entusiasmo se mueren, dejando con un proyecto incompleto. Y no hay nada mas frustrante que empezar algo y no poder terminarlo.
De todas maneras, ahora estoy empezando a cambiar esto. Después de haber cumplido 20 hace un par de semanas, decidí ver las cosas desde otro punto de vista. Este ultimo cumpleaños me deprimió bastante, sentí como que debería haber hecho mas cosas para este entonces. Pero alguien me dijo...la mejor parte de tu vida acaba de empezar. Así que me decidí explotar todas las oportunidades que se me presenten y poner todo mi corazón en lo que hago. Sino prefiero no hacerlo. 
Habiendo dicho eso, tengo varios proyectos personales en los que quiero trabajar este año, así que espero que con este blog voy a poder mostrarles mi lenta "metamorfosis".
